YouTube Unveils Enhanced Creator Tools, Featuring Innovations in Generative AI, During 'Made On' Event

Oct 2, 2023 – YouTube’s ‘Made On’ event this year has been a herald of lots of pleasant surprises for the video creators. It unfolded a whole new set of AI-powered tools that are particularly designed for the purpose of making things easier for creators.

The CEO of YouTube, Neal Mohan, was very excited to share new updates on the app. He stated, “We want to make it convenient for anyone to create content on YouTube.” “The goal of these features is to empower artists and creators by pushing their creative limits, making complex things simpler for them, and turning dreams into reality,” he further added.

The suite includes four new tools that are all powered by artificial intelligence, namely, Dream Screen, AI Insights, YouTube Create, and Aloud.

Dream Screen allows people to add custom AI-generated backgrounds to their videos through prompts. The backgrounds can be either a static image or an animation. This feature is specifically created to assist in the creation of YouTube shorts. It will let people expand their imaginative powers limitlessly and get creative with their prompts.

AI Insights is a fascinating tool for creators, especially the ones who find themselves stuck in a creative block often. This one brainstorms ideas for new videos on the basis of insights such as what kind of content is a particular creator’s audience more interested in watching.

YouTube Create is a separate app that lets users produce or edit their content, both long-form and short-form, conveniently. Some of the tools in this app include stitching videos together, trimming videos, adding automatic captions and voiceovers, a multitude of filters, effects, transitions, and royalty-free music.

Aloud is a voice dubbing tool, powered by artificial intelligence. The thing about this feature is that it is available in numerous languages which will allow creators to reach diverse cultures and audiences, crossing language barriers. This can prove to be a fantastic means for them to grow their YouTube channel.

As of yet, YouTube has just presented a roadmap of these products and the integration of artificial intelligence in how they will work. They will be available for use for creators hopefully until next year.

These tools are believed to help content creators explore the wide realm of possibilities and push the boundaries of artistic expression on YouTube. Some creators struggle with brainstorming ideas and editing the videos as it is really time-consuming for them. As a solution to these obstructive issues, YouTube came up with these tools so that content creation becomes accessible to everyone.
