X Announces a New Way for Sponsors to Support App Creators' Video Uploads

Recently X tested out a new type of creators’ monetization method with Mr. Beast – a renowned YouTube star. X has officially announced its new Creator’s Targeting ad option. This ad option will allow businesses to sponsor specified creator content in the platform.

The officials of X explained that the advertisers on X will shortly be allowed to operate ads counter to a classified list of premium content creators through the Creator’s Targeting option. The option will offer advertisers more control, allowing them to utilize the self-serve Ads Manager on the platform to run ads against their chosen creator’s content.

It can be a good initiative to enhance exposure with specific or targeted audiences. At the same time, the option will also provide new methods to extend your reach via popular creators’ clips.

Keep in mind that the option is still under restrictions now, as X hasn’t revealed the details of what type of creators will be included in this program. But, as Mr. Beast tested it out for the first time and according to the premium creator inventory noted by X, the experts are assuming that the option will be available for creators having a significant amount of followers on their profiles.

The program is generally an expansion of the Amplify Program proposed by X, for video content sponsorship. The procedure was implemented back in 2015, allowing publishers to monetize their video content uploaded on the platform.

X is aiming to attract more video content creators to be a significant part of its video-first platform push. The platform officials are hoping that this initiative will bring more high-profile creators to the platform, adding its value in the digital world.

To make the platform more attractive and famous, the team of X is bringing many updates and initiatives. For example, it recently launched the job listing feature with over 750K jobs available in the app. At the same time, to make your content more valuable on the app, X has also introduced timestamp links for uploading videos.
