Jesse Chen, an engineer working on Threads explained that the team of Threads has done a partnership with a range of third-party platforms to live test the platform’s APl. This API has been in developing mode for the past few months.

Chen briefly explained that the API at this time authorizes users to validate, publish, and fetch the content they will post through these tools. As well as this, soon the platform will also enable insights capabilities and reply moderation.

He said that the API is now testing with a small number of partners. These partners include Social Newsdesk, Sprout Social, Grabyo, Hootsuite, Techmeme, and Sprinklr. Besides this, a few independent developers also have significant parts of this collaboration.
